Meaningful Care. Made Simple.
-
Available 6 AM-8 PM
A full hour is the standard, not an upgrade. Pet sitting should be about more than checking off the necessities and heading out the door. Each unhurried visit leaves time for meaningful attention, enrichment, and companionship while the ones they love are away.
-
Available 9 PM-5 AM
More time, more companionship, and the comfort of home. Nights can feel different when the people they love are away, so overnight care provides a reassuring presence while keeping their familiar routine intact. Whether they prefer sleeping on their own or having me right beside them, even on the floor, I'll settle in wherever helps them feel most comfortable.

Your Pet & Home

Yes. I just ask that you tell me about any behavioral concerns beforehand so I can make sure I can safely care for your pet.
-
If something your pet needs runs out while you're away, I can pick up a replacement when necessary. You'll only be charged for the item and any applicable mileage.
This can also include necessary household supplies I need to properly care for your pets or clean up after them.
-
Keys and access codes need to be tested before services begin. You can absolutely use a keypad without giving me a physical key, but I can't be responsible for being unable to enter because of an incorrect code, power outage or keypad failure.
For physical keys:
Two key pickups or returns within any 30-day period are complimentary.
Additional special trips are $10 within 10 miles, plus mileage beyond 10 miles.
If I need to have an additional key made, you'll be charged the cost of the key and applicable mileage.

Your personal information stays private, and security cameras are perfectly fine as long as they aren't in private areas such as bathrooms.
I also won't use photos or videos of your pets or home for advertising or social media without your written permission.
Visits & Scheduling
-
Not always. I use a 2-hour arrival window since some visits may take longer than expected or something unexpected can come up. If your pet needs something done around a certain time, such as medication or feeding, I will always take that into consideration when planning my schedule.
-
Visits are scheduled within a two-hour arrival window, so I can't guarantee an exact arrival time. Being an existing client also doesn't guarantee availability, so I recommend booking as early as you can, especially during busier times of the year.
-
The first three visits are assessment visits. This gives me a chance to get to know your pets, their routine and how much time their care actually takes.
During these visits, you'll never be charged more than $60 per 60 minutes, even if I end up staying longer. Starting with the fourth visit, their established visit length and price will apply.
-
Every visit includes:
A detailed Time To Pet report (my pet sitting software)
GPS details
Photo collages
An edited video
Timestamped photos of completed care tasks
A Google Photos album with all of your photos in full resolution
Your report, photo collages and video are sent directly to your email through Time To Pet.

About
A big part of why I chose pet sitting is actually because of what the pets do for me too. I live with chronic pain from several chronic medical conditions, and being around animals is a sort of therapy for me. Simply seeing them or having them nearby brings me joy and gives me something else to focus on besides my own aches and pains.
I also do better when I keep moving. Sitting still for too long makes me stiffen up like a rusty machine, while taking care of pets naturally keeps me active throughout the day.
Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy being there with them. Whether they want to play tag in an enclosed yard, be left alone to snooze peacefully in their favorite bed, or spend half the visit glued to my side demanding attention, I am happy to meet them where they are. I get a lot out of spending time with them, which is why I put so much into making sure they're happy and comfortable while giving you peace of mind while you're away. You're trusting me with someone who's part of your family, and I don't take that responsibility lightly.
Over my time as a pet sitter, I've realized that the typical 30-minute visit doesn't allow me to provide the kind of care I naturally want to give. If something needs a more in-depth cleaning, it gets done. If a pet is unusually clingy, I give them more attention. If they're bored or need more stimulation, I pull something out of my bag of tricks. Sometimes that's literally a new toy.
I also don't like rushing pets. They can tell when those around them are in a hurry, and I especially don't want them feeling stressed when the people they love and trust are already away.
To me, good pet care is more than completing a list of tasks, sending a basic update, and going off to my next visit. By the time I leave, I want to know they're taken care of and comfortable. I also want my clients to have documented proof of everything that was done.
There are also times when I have to be honest with a client and tell them I don't think I'm the right fit for their pet. Some pets really need someone there full time, while others may be happier boarding somewhere they can run around and play with other dogs. I've recommended those options even when it means losing the client because, at the end of the day, the pet's happiness and comfort come first.
My new tagline, “Meaningful Care. Peace of Mind.” is more than a nice saying. It's the whole point behind how I run Whiskers and Snoots.
For years, I had a hard time stopping a visit after 30 minutes. If I felt a pet or the job needed more time, I stayed. No one asked or expected me to. A 30-minute visit could easily turn into an hour or more, not including the additional time I spent afterward putting together the visit report, photos, and video.
The problem was that I was still charging for a 30-minute visit. That meant I was charging $15 while consistently providing an hour or more of pet care, completing household tasks, and then spending even more time on the visit report afterward. My prices had also remained unchanged since early 2023, and with today's costs, that simply wasn't something I could realistically continue.
For a long time, my answer was to take on more visits and sacrifice more of my own time rather than reduce the care I provided. Even when I was exhausted and overworked, I still had a very hard time leaving a pet just because their scheduled time was over.
Eventually, I had to accept that something needed to change. Beginning November 1st, 2026, a full hour is my standard visit. I'm not changing the way I care for pets. I'm simply changing my services to better match the care I've already been providing.
My pricing may be higher than some sitters, but I prefer to include as much as possible in the price rather than start with a lower price and then add fees for things like holidays, weekends, extra pets, Included at No Extra Charge Holidays Weekends Extra Pets Medication Administration Late Booking First Two Meet-and-Greets No Mileage Fees Within 10 Miles Up to Two Key Pickups & Returns Per 30 Days Standard Cancellations Necessary Supply Runs .
